RLUH-Carillion_Header

Tag Systems have had the pleasure to work with Carillions Project Commercial Manager for the Royal Liverpool University Hospital contract, the feedback from which has been how delighted they are with the work which Tag Systems has carried out. The Fire Detection and Evacuation system was installed with the minimum amount of disruption and provided the perfect temporary solution to ensure the safety of Carillion staff was given the priority it warrants. The coverage of the system for Phase 1 is over 10 floors and therefore monitors all the key areas of the build. The advice and help given by Tag Systems during the planning stage proved invaluable.

Carillion is one of the UK’s leading support services and construction companies, with over 50,000 employees worldwide. With a longstanding history of successfully completing major projects and a legacy of building in Liverpool, it is they who have been selected to construct the new Royal Liverpool Hospital due to open in 2017.

With the safety of their staff one of the foremost concerns Carillion required an effective temporary Fire Detection and Evacuation system. Tag Systems Wireless Security Solution Specialists were consulted and based on the efficiency of lead time and installation, plus the cost effectiveness of the equipment suggested, the contract was awarded.

Tag Guard designed a Temporary Fire Evacuation & Heat Detection system to the clients specification. Operating between level 0 and level 10, incorporating local klaxons, red fire alert breakglass and heat detectors on all floors with green medical alert breakglass on alternate floors the system is monitored remotely 24/7 by Tag Systems own alarm receiving centre.
